Citrus Surface Scrub Recipe

I needed to scour the kitchen sink today, it needed a good cleaning, and was looking icky, so I came up with this simple all natural scrub recipe. I imagine it would work great on counters and bathroom surfaces too!

Kitchen Citrus Surface Scrub
1/4 cup baking soda (you could also use borax)
1/4 salt
1-2 tablespoons dried orange peel - optional. *
10 drops tea tree essential oil
5 drops essential oil of choice
Mix thoroughly, sprinkle liberally over wet surface and scour.

*The orange peel is just for added grit and to make it smell nice, I imagine any hard herb or dried citrus peel would work great, try dried rosemary, or maybe grapefruit/lime/lemon peel!

Tip:
If you have fresh citrus on hand, try that instead! Roll the fruit to release juice, slice in half, and rub on your surface before applying your scrub.
